DSR Fishing Report for 11 June 2026:

REPORT:
Angler density was low today, one angler caught several Smallmouth using a variety of Spey and Spinning equipment, Smallmouth wasn't the only fish landed, a Fallfish was also brought to hand.

CFS / WEATHER:
The flow from the dam is currently 185 CFS which is scheduled through 11:59pm this evening. The Pineville Gauge currently reads 268 CFS.

Tonight: Rain showers this evening with overcast skies overnight. Low near 65F. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 60%.

Tomorrow: Scattered thunderstorms. Storms may contain strong gusty winds. High around 80F. Winds SW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 50%.

Our angler density was low today with just two guests joining us. They didn’t provide a report on their way out.

Our angler density was low today with just a handful of season pass holders joining us for a couple hours early-morning. They were able to land a few Smallmouth each in the middle and lower sections of the run.

CFS / WEATHER:
The flow from the dam is currently 185 CFS which is scheduled through 11:59pm this evening. The Pineville Gauge currently reads 256 CFS.

Tonight: Cloudy skies early, then off and on rain showers overnight. Low 67F. Winds SSE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 40%.

REPORT:

Our angler density was listed as ‘slow’ today with just one of our season pass guests joining us for a couple hours mid-morning. Using a swim bait and spinning gear he managed to land (5) smallmouth in the middle portion of the run.

CFS / WEATHER:

The flow from the dam is currently 220 CFS which is scheduled through 11:59pm this evening. The Pineville Gauge currently reads 260 CFS.

Tonight: Partly cloudy skies this evening will become overcast overnight. Low near 55F. Winds W at 10 to 20 mph.

DSR Fishing Report for 06 June 2026:

REPORT:

There were some early morning showers today. The angler density was low and the angler success was slow. One of our guests landed several Smallmouth, a few Fallfish were also landed by a couple of anglers. The temperature made it up to 80F this afternoon, a bit muggy on the run, afternoon fishing was very slow.

The flow from the dam is currently 220 CFS which is scheduled through 11:59pm this evening. The Pineville Gauge currently reads 264 CFS.

REPORT:

A handful of anglers joined us today on the run, primarily during the morning hours. Smallmouth were the targeted species and several in the 13-15” came to hand using a variety of swung flies.

CFS / WEATHER:

The flow from the dam is currently 185 CFS which is scheduled through 11:59pm this evening. The Pineville Gauge currently reads 264 CFS.

Tonight: Partly cloudy skies this evening will give way to occasional showers overnight. Low 63F. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 70%.

Tomorrow: Rain showers in the morning with thunderstorms developing in the afternoon. Gusty winds and small hail are possible. High 73F. Winds SW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 70%.

DSR Fishing Report for 04 June 2026:

REPORT:

We had a handful, (‘low’) number of anglers join us on the run today with a pair fishing the am and a separate pair fishing the afternoon. Fishing was listed as ‘quiet’ with only a handful of smallmouth brought to hand primarily in the lower sections, along with several fall fish caught by those anglers targeting them directly.

CFS / WEATHER:

The flow from the dam is currently 185 CFS which is scheduled through 11:59pm this evening. The Pineville Gauge currently reads 264 CFS.

REPORT: We had a few anglers fish the run today with moderate angling success. They fished from the upper section of the run to the lower section and landed a handful of Smallmouth Bass.

DSR Fishing Report for 02 June 2026:

REPORT: We had one angler on the run today that reported good fishing for Smallmouth Bass. He landed double digits in just a few hours fishing the upper section of the run (Randy is pictured below with one of his nice Smallmouth).

CFS / WEATHER: The flow from the dam is currently 185 CFS which is scheduled through 11:59pm this evening. The Pineville Gauge currently reads 299 CFS.

Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low around 45F. Winds light and variable.

Tomorrow: Mostly sunny skies. Slight chance of a rain shower. High near 75F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph.

As part of an After-Action-Review of last season that identified best-practices moving forward, guests are requested to check out when they leave the property. This will enhance angler safety and our efforts to more accurately manage angler density on the run so as to not exceed angler limits. Check-out may be as simple as stating “Season Pass Holder (last name) leaving for the day!” or calling the Welcome Center to share “Party of four under (last name) leaving for the day!”.
