1. Teachers who care - our staff doesn’t just care about your dancers training, we care about your dancer. Classes should be educational, fun and opportunities for growth. We want our dancers to develop skills that translate in and out of the studio at any age!
2. Strong foundational skills - Whether a dancer is training recreationally or competitively, building strong foundational skills is a must! Strong dancers are good dancers which is why we care about strengthening, stretching and teaching proper technique and form.
3. Community - if you haven’t heard 👂🏻this is our 20th season!!! We have been here in Powhatan for a long time. We love this community and any opportunity we get to connect! With yearly recitals at PCC, parades in the village, field days and more over the years, we have been glad to call Powhatan home for two decades!
4. Family - PDS isn’t just a place for dance families, it’s run by one! Owner and Director Serrah Brod and her husband Dylan are both creatives who love art in many forms. They strive to create a space that feels loving and safe for all dancers and artists. With three kids of their own, they know family comes first….but dance is a close second! 😉🤍
