GOOD LUCK! To the 12U (rising 13U) Core Red Legs as they begin their Baseball Hall of Fame journey at Dreams Park in Cooperstown, NY this week. The team of players, parents and coaches have been working unbelievably hard over the last 5 months to make the lifelong memories that this prestigious tournament brings. 🍊💪🏼 Core Crusher Alert! 💪🏼🍊Congratulations to 12U (rising 13U) Core Red Legs players Eli Snoddy and Nicholas Carter for going yard in the Shenandoah Vally Athletics, National Ring Event last weekend. Although this is not the first home runs these boys have sent sailing over the fence, it’s the first as Core ball players. Congrats fellas, welcome to the Core Crusher Club! Keep up the trend in Cooperstown next week! 💪🏼🍊🩵⚾️

CONGRATULATIONS to 8U Core Cannons player, Liam Thompson, for representing Core Baseball on the national stage during the USSSA National All State Championship in Lafayette, Louisiana last week. Liam’s was selected for the Team Virginia RF 8U team and saw success both personally and with his team. His team played teams from Alabama and Kentucky along with another Virginia team. They took home some hardware, placing 2nd place in the bronze bracket! Liam also saw some personal success placing 10th out of 107 players in the Home Run Derby and 11th out of 107 players in the Golden Arm Competition. Congrats to Liam for a great tournament and continued good luck to him as he starts his new venture on the 10U Core Rangers team this season! 🙌🏼🩵⚾️ Liam T

CoreFocus Conditioning! 🏃🏻‍♂️🏃‍♀️A huge shout out to our Coach Court for seeding something small into something special. Early in the summer, Coach Court started doing open/optional running practices for players that needed help with their run form and to just get kids out to be healthy. A couple kids turned into a handful of kids, which turned into a decent group, which turned into a big group! Players, siblings, player’s friends and even parents look forward to Coach Court’s sessions! 🩵🏃🏻‍♂️👏🏼

Congratulations to 11U Core Commanders players Nolan Campbell and Landon Marotta for being selected as USSSA All-Americans! Our two players represented Core Baseball on the national stage last week at USSSA’s All-American Games at the USSSA Space Coast Complex in Viera, Florida. They were surrounded by an amazing group of teammates comprised of players from California, Arizona, Texas, Michigan, Connecticut and of course, Virginia. These two did not disappoint in their performances, including one play where Nolan threw a dot from RF to Landon to nail someone at the plate (Video). Nolan had the lowest ERA of all starting pitchers at 3.375 and had an incredible 73% first pitch strike %. Landon had an amazing week behind the plate throwing out 4 of 16 base stealers and had some great plays at the plate. Their team (self identifying as the meatballs) placed 3rd overall in the tournament against some the best 11U players our country has to offer. Congrats to both of these hard working young men! 🩵⚾️🤌🏼

CONGRATULATIONS! 🎉to our Fall 2025 - Spring 2026 CORE Award Recipients! The award was given to one player on each of our original 2025 teams. The awardees were chosen for the exhibiting the highest ex*****on of our CORE values of Commitment, Ownership, Respect and Effort within their teams. While many of our players were in contention, and all of our players are consistently following our CORE values, these players rose to the top. The awards were given to 11U Commanders player - Cameron Scott, 11U Generals player - Hudson Davis (Not pictured), 9U Rangers player - Maddox Morey, 8u Recruits player - Easton Wills, and 8U Cannons player - Tucker Wellman. Congrats boys, we are proud of you! The night was also spent welcoming our newest 60+ families that will help comprise the 11 Core teams playing in the Fall. All the families, new and old, were able to relax, unwind, listen to the AMAZING live music of Michael Bergamo, eat great pizza from River City Wood Fire, have the best Italian ice in town from River City Sunset Slush and have some fun before things get busy in a couple weeks. Congrats to our recognized players and welcome to our newest families! 🩵⚾️
