A little bit of training, little bit of lifešŸ«¶šŸ¼

Here’s what’s actually going on with the women I coachā¬‡ļø

- Blood sugar swings from a lunch that was more carbs than protein or no real lunch at all because the calendar didn’t allow for it

- Under-eating earlier in the day, so your body is running on fumes by mid-afternoon

- Cortisol that’s been ā€œonā€ since 6am with zero recovery windows, and your nervous system finally sending you signals

None of this shows up on a scale. It shows up in your focus, your patience and your energy by 5pm, these are the things that actually affect your day.

Fix the input, and the crash stops being a daily event.

Give yourself more credit, you’re actually pretty damn good at doing hard things.

-You show up for your career.
-You take care of your family.

You HAVE DONE hard things!!

So why does your health feel like the one area where you can’t seem to get it together?

Because you keep trying to make it the exception.

You want the fastest way to lose the weight.
The easiest meal plan to follow.
The workout that burns the most calories.
The strategy that requires the least amount of time.

And I get it.

You’re busy. You have a LOT on your plate.

But the shortcut is NEVER the best answer with anything.

āļøYou CANNOT guess your way into understanding your body.

āļøYou can’t improve what you don’t track.

āļøYou can’t change patterns you aren’t aware of.

AND you can’t actually see results by constantly starting over!!

Tracking isn’t about being obsessive. It’s about being honest.

It gives you information.

And once you have information, we can make decisions instead of guesses.

You don’t need to track forever.

But you do need to stop treating your health like a shortcut.

& when you do, your results finally start matching the amount of effort you’re already putting in. šŸ¤

Client Spotlight:
Coach:

Two years ago, Danielle came to me with a few goals, one of them was to step on a bodybuilding stage. We said 1.5-2 years… and almost exactly TWO years later, we made it happen. šŸ„¹šŸ†

In July 2026, my first-time natural bikini client stepped on stage at the NPC Twin Cities Open after completing a 20-week natural prep and brought home a **TOP 5 placing** in her first show. šŸ¤

We lost roughly 16 lbs throughout prep, but the number on the scale was never the biggest priority. The goal was to get her stage-ready **while prioritizing her health, performance, recovery, and longevity every step of the way.**

Being a natural athlete already requires a strategic approach, and with her autoimmune disease, we were especially intentional about how we approached her prep. We never needed to rush the process or sacrifice her health just to get leaner faster.

And that’s what makes this transformation so damn special.

It’s not just about the physique you see on stage. It’s about the woman who committed to a goal, trusted the process for TWO YEARS, showed up when it was hard, and followed through on the promise she made to herself.

I couldn’t be more proud of her. ā¤ļø

**Goal set in 2024 → stage in July 2026 → TOP 5 in her first show.**

This is what happens when you give the process the time, strategy, and commitment it deserves. šŸ„¹šŸ”„

Food does not need to be an emotional experience.

Somewhere along the way, food became:

• A reward
• A coping tool
• A stress reliever
• A celebration
• A distraction
• A punishment
• A source of guilt
• A measure of ā€œbeing goodā€ or ā€œbeing badā€

That’s exhausting.

Food is fuel.
Food is nourishment.
Food is enjoyment.

But it is not therapy.
It is not your only outlet.

When every meal carries emotional weight, you end up on a rollercoaster:
ā€œI was so good today.ā€
ā€œI ruined everything.ā€
ā€œI’ll start over Monday.ā€
ā€œI need to be stricter.ā€

When we detach emotion from foodā¬‡ļø
You can enjoy a burger without guilt.
You can eat a salad without feeling superior.
You can have dessert without spiraling.
You can miss your protein goal and just… move on.

This doesn’t mean food can’t be part of celebrations or culture or memories. It absolutely can. Life is meant to be lived.

But your daily meals don’t need to carry the weight of your stress, boredom, loneliness, or self worth.

When we build structure (protein, strength training, balanced meals), emotional intensity around food naturally decreases.

Because you feel stable.
You feel fueled.
You feel in control, not restricted.

If you’ve been riding the emotional food rollercoaster for years, I see you.

You CAN care about your health without obsessing.
There is a way to enjoy food without being controlled by it.
YOU CAN lose fat without hating yourself through it.

And it starts with making food less dramatic, not more restrictive. šŸ’›

ā€œMy metabolism is broken.ā€

I hear this almost every week & its NOT true lol

What’s actually happening is usually one of three things: not enough protein to hold onto muscle, cortisol running high from zero recovery, or years of restrictive dieting that’s quietly taught your body to hoard.

This just means the your inputs haven’t matched what your body actually needs.

Fix the inputs, and the metabolism you thought was broken comes back.

Here is exactly what I would do if I had high cortisol (which you need to check for btw you cannot just guess and assume) 🤪

Everything in our health works together, it all connects and relates. When one piece is off, it can impact everything else.

A lot of things come back to stress, so make sure you are building a life you love and not a jail cellšŸ˜… day by day, you’ve got thisšŸ«¶šŸ¼āœØ
