There was a woman I used to be
who didn’t know how strong she was.
There is a woman I am today
who understands the power of her story.
And there is a woman I am still evolving into
who refuses to stop growing.

I’ve walked into rooms where I could feel the question before it was spoken:
How did she get here?
Early in my career, I stepped into leadership roles I didn’t have “perfect” experience for—becoming one of the youngest cabinet members in one space and the first Black senior leader in another.
And still… I never confused this truth:
A learning edge is not a legitimacy gap.
I’ve learned that many leaders—especially women and leaders of color—stand at this same edge:
• stepping into bigger roles
• navigating transitions
• redefining their leadership
• feeling called to something more
I call this work Edgework.
The space between who you’ve been and who you’re becoming.
✨ That’s why I created the Edgework Collective (launching April 1).
I’m opening a small founding cohort of women now.
