The hardest things I practice on my mat aren’t the poses.

They’re the moments when I notice how I’m talking to myself.

When something gets hard and my inner voice gets a little less kind.

When I look around the room to see how everyone else is doing.

When I wonder if I’m doing enough. If I’m good enough. If someone else thinks I’m doing it “right.”

I am always a student before I am anything else. And the mat keeps teaching me about the way I move through the rest of my life.

Because when we get quiet enough, we start to hear ourselves.

And that isn’t always comfortable.

Sometimes we don’t need another challenge or another thing to accomplish.

Sometimes we need a place where it feels safe enough to notice. To move. To breathe. To be with ourselves.

And maybe, a community where no one is asking us to prove anything.

That’s why I’m bringing our flows back.

Not to perfect the poses.

But to practice what happens inside of us when things get hard—and create the conditions for healing, self-discovery, and connection.

On the mat and beyond it.
