16 with a valid drivers licence to drive passenger must be capable of holding on to handles and ride behind driver. pants boots helmets jacket....not sure about gloves this year. covid will change our procedure on how we operate during check in.

Leaves are turning white!!!!!

Dirtventures will be open til snow so we expect a week or two into nov….however, this is the last dash for foliage going north the leaves are bare so considering heading more southerly to catch the last of it. Right now is on the later side with very vibrant colors We can now make it to the brick store more easily and drive over covered bridge with the newly enhanced trail!!!!!

❄️ Could a Super El Niño Bring Big Snow Storms This Winter? ❄️

It’s one of the biggest questions heading into the 2026–2027 winter season.

Historically, some stronger El Niño events have created a favorable setup for an active southern storm track, allowing Gulf moisture to interact with colder air when the pattern lines up. If that happens, parts of the Central Plains, Mid-South, Ohio Valley, and even portions of the Southeast could see an increased opportunity for significant winter storms.

It’s still early, and this is not a forecast—it’s a pattern we’re closely watching. The exact placement of the jet stream, the timing of Arctic air, and storm tracks will ultimately determine who sees snow, ice, or mostly rain.

There are still plenty of questions to answer, but the signals are becoming more interesting as we get closer to winter.

Our sister co Dirtventures is getting the wheels turning after a long rainy chilly spring…..still more rain but as always we ride around most of it.
On one of our first rides we ran into yogi on the trail!
The falls are rocking!!! No swimming is advised til the rains die down.
