June 6, 2026 race recap:

Not much to report this week. Seems like we broke a spider gear on the first lap of qualifying. Parker knew something wasn’t right and made a smart decision to pull in during qualifying.
He went out for the feature and made one slow lap around the bottom of the track to collect points and parked it for the night.
We’ll tear it down this week and see what needs replaced.

May 16, 2026:

Parker would qualify 9th and said the car was still too tight. We made a small change hoping to free it up a little for the feature race. After trying the bottom a few laps, he moved up top against the wall and ran the rest of the race there, having decent lap times, but still complaining of the car being tight. He would pick up a few spots and finish the night P6.
After the race when we checked air pressure, the right rear had lost 6.5 pounds of air contributing to the tight condition. On a good note, the tire didn’t explode and tear up anything or cause a wreck.

May 9, 2026:
The pure stock class got added to the NBS schedule as a non points race for the weekend so we decided to go have some fun.
Qualifying didn’t go our way as the car kept shutting off on pit road and Parker wasn’t able to make a qualifying lap. Thanks to David Brogan and his crew, they found the module in the distributor was going bad and gave us one to replace it with. That solved the problem just in time for the feature.
Parker would end up finishing 4th on the night.
Congratulations to Donald Keesee on the win and thank you to everyone who helped out last night to get the car going.

May 2, 2026 race:

Parker had to give his seat up this week due to having a concussion from a high school lacrosse game on Thursday night. The car was ready and it didn’t make sense to let it sit in the garage, so we called up our friend and sponsor, Shad Cooper, to go have some fun. Qualifying was super tight with positions 1-12 being separated by 3 to 4/10ths. Shad would end up 11th in qualifying. The track was dry slick for the feature with not much opportunity for passing throughout the field. We would pick up one position to finish P10.
Pure stock is off next week and our next race will be May 16th.

We recently had some custom hats made for our 2025 sponsors as end of year gifts. They were well received and a few people have asked about purchasing one. We have these 3 left over but we are planning on making another order soon. The next order will include these 3 colors plus some camouflage hats. Hats are $25 for regular and $27 for camouflage. Let us know if you’re interested and we’ll write you on the list-payments can be made in cash, Venmo or PayPal.
We use a local small business, Cobblestone Shoppes, in Lexington for the leather patches so the timeline for hats will depend on their completion schedule. They are a great locally owned company that provides excellent services.
Finally, this year wouldn’t have been possible without all of our sponsors, friends, family and competitors. Each time we needed advice, parts or a helping hand, you all made it happen. Looking forward to 2026.
