Zimmerman receives ODAC's Majorie Berkley Award

FOREST, Va. – The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) announced on Thursday that Washington and Lee recent women's soccer and basketball graduate Sarah Zimmerman is the 2026 recipient of the Marjorie Berkley Award as the top women's sport scholar athlete in the conference.

🏆 RECORD-SETTING YEAR FOR THE GENERALS

Washington and Lee matched its highest-ever Learfield Directors’ Cup finish, placing 12th nationally, and set a program record with 803.75 points — the first time eclipsing the 800-point mark.

A historic spring fueled the finish, producing 394.75 points from women’s golf, men’s golf, women’s tennis, men’s lacrosse, women’s lacrosse, men’s tennis and women’s track & field.
