​Looking for a rewarding summer gig? Lancaster Parks & Recreation and the American Red Cross are hunting for enthusiastic individuals who love to teach and swim—of any age (15+)!
​The best part? Get paid while you train! 💰 This is a paid, short-term summer job—a fantastic way to make a difference, gain experience, and earn extra income.
​Commitment: Just a few hours a day for 4 weeks out of the summer! It's the perfect flexible schedule. 🕒
​📅 Training Dates & Locations
​Sunday, May 31: AM or PM at Miller or Tiki Pool
​Monday–Friday, June 8–11: 9:00–11:30 AM at Miller or Tiki Pool
​Saturday, June 12: 8:00–11:30 AM at Miller or Tiki Pool
​Monday–Thursday, June 15–17: 9:00–11:30 AM at Miller Pool
​⚠️ Note: You must also work Session, Week 1 and/or Week 2 Swim Lessons, either at Miller Pool in the morning or at Tiki Pool in the evening.
​💻 Training Details
​Format: Blended learning (6.45 hours online + 23.5 hours in-person at the facility)
​Cost: $45 for training
​👥 Who Can Apply?
​Ages 15 & up by the last day of class (all ages welcome!)
​Must love swimming and teaching others.
​Must be able to swim basic strokes (Front Crawl, Back Crawl, Breaststroke, Elementary Backstroke, Sidestroke, Butterfly).
