🏀 CALLING ALL COACHES — BASKETBALL & CHEER 🎉

Every year around this time, we hear from parents who've been thinking about coaching — "maybe next season," "I'd help out if someone showed me the ropes," "my kid keeps asking if I'll do it." If that's you: this is your sign. Now's the time.

FCBA is gearing up for the upcoming season, and we want our basketball and cheer coaches in place by mid-to-late October. There's no hard deadline — but the sooner you raise your hand, the more time we have to plan a season that runs smoothly for everyone.
Never coached before? That's okay. Assistant coach roles are a great way to get your feet wet, learn alongside someone experienced, and figure out if head coaching is something you'd want down the road. We need assistants just as much as we need head coaches — don't count yourself out because you're not sure you're "ready."

A few things to know:

✅ Indicating interest doesn't guarantee placement — but it's the first step
✅ Open to head coach and assistant coach roles, basketball and cheer
✅ No experience required to apply

This person will help make gameday run smoother by coordinating parents on things like running the clock and scoreboard — and training anyone who's never done it before. No experience needed. We'll teach you everything.
