The pool should’ve had cameras a long time ago. Any cameras could have worked that could have been watched it didn’t need to be big or expensive , they were put in the budget and should have been purchased. After the breaking in last year and people swimming at night this should have been taken care of years ago. Same thing at Mingo there should be cameras there! After over 19k in damage to the restrooms and vandalism then to follow up with fence damage on brand new fencing and bases being stolen , security should be a priority !

The Perry County Sheriff’s Office invites you and your family to our 2026 Youth Fishing Derby on Saturday, August 1 at the Perry County Gun Club!

This free community event is open to the public and offers young anglers a fun day of fishing, prizes, food, and time spent outdoors. Every participant will receive a T-shirt, lunch will be provided, and trophies will be awarded for the largest fish in each age group.

Bring the kids, enjoy a great day on the water, and help us promote positive choices through the outdoors. We look forward to seeing you there!
