We train the body to perform optimally, using any stimulus and any mode. We run, we jump, we swing kettlebells, we flip tires and lift barbells, and you can bet we do pushups and pullups. More importantly, we train you to be able to do all these things effectively, efficiently, and confidently. Our program will help you develop capacity in a wide range of fitness domains including Cardiovascular Endurance, Muscular Strength, Balance, Coordination, Stamina, Accuracy, Flexibility, Power, Speed, and Agility. We do not use fixed machines! We believe that TRUE FITness lies within Functional training because it has a direct relation to real life. Our goal is to make sure you leave the gym everyday a little better, stronger, and more efficient than the day before. Our mission is to CHANGE LIVES ONE REP AT A TIME!!!!!! Athletes, men, women, young, old, fit, and sedentary will benefit from the same strength and condititoning program. Our training is 100% scalable to fit any fitness level, so whether its your first time exercising or your a professional athlete, we promise both of you will leave the gym performing at a higher level.

You have probably heard us say something like, “get braced,” “abs tight,” or “stay set.” What we are cueing is to set the core for movement, loading, and efficiency.

Bracing for exercise protects for spine, increases strength and power, maintains form, and helps to reduce spinal loading.

To brace properly, inhale a deep belly breath through the mouth without expanding the chest. Simultaneously, engage your core muscles, as if bracing for a stomach punch.

Practice holding your brace while taking little breaths, without losing tension. Ultimately you should be able to move, breathe, and even speak while maintaining tightness in your core.

Before the heavy weights and PR’s, it’s starts in the core.
