At nineteen years old, Luke Fury continues to build his resume around the country, and I really love this match for him.
Marko Stunt is a former AEW talent with years of experience. Heβs worked around the country, wrestled on national television and paid his bills as a professional wrestler. That makes him exactly the kind of opponent I want to see Luke in the ring with.
A year ago today, I booked Luke against Kerry Morton. They went 27 minutes in the main event in Spartanburg, South Carolina. A year later, Luke continues getting opportunities against wrestlers who have been places and done things that a young wrestler can learn from.
Luke was raised around this business. His father, Nick Fury, was an excellent wrestler. Luke is my nephew, and Iβve watched him grow up around wrestling his entire life. He didnβt just watch it on television β he was at the matches with us, watching, listening and learning.
