Celebrating over 60 years of value to the community at the Art Richards mountain, the Rotarun Ski Area continues to serve as a great place for the young, and young at heart to discover a lifetime's enjoyment of snow sports in the Wood River Valley. Area Fun Facts and Stats
The poma lift runs a little over 400 vertical and 1400 lineal feet to the top of Art Richards Mountain. Both of Rotarun's lift

s are electrically powered surface lifts, a handle tow lift and a poma lift. Night skiing available.
2 snow cats and 2 snow mobiles are used in area operations. Rotarun's Board of Directors operates as a non membership board. Primarily run by Volunteers, the Lifties, Area Manager and administrative support are paid positions. Rotarun's Board Members

Join the Rotarun team! ⛷️🏂

Rotarun Ski Area is seeking a creative, community-minded Marketing & Communications Manager for the 2026–27 season.

This hands-on role will help lead marketing efforts to grow season-pass sales, build sponsor relationships, engage the community, support events, and share the stories and experiences that make Rotarun such a special place.

The hourly, seasonal position runs from September through mid-April, averaging 10–20 hours per week in September and October and approximately 30–40 hours per week from November through April.

Now that we know how obsessed this town is with The Dead, we feel that our final Wednesday Free Ski Night deserves a proper send off with the music of Bobby Weir. Come watch the sun set and grab a sticker from 6-9pm! 🌄

The dirt is closing in on us and we have decided it’s time to put a bow on the season. We will be open 4 days this week for public skiing. Join us for some final spring turns and say “goodbye for now” to our little hill!

World Tele Day is going down this SATURDAY! Free heels ski for free, 11-3pm. Tele congo line? Tele limbo? T2B Book Club? Who knows what antics has in store. Put your fun pants on and come find out. We will be playing reggae classics all day Friday & Saturday to celebrate the return of spring sunshine and Reggae in The Mountains !
