Velocity is Downtown Fort Wayne’s first holistic, data-driven strength training facility. We offer individualized programming for each client, either in person or online, with a focus on nutrition and movement competency, and education on personal identity shifts. All fitness levels are welcome and all programs will be catered to our client’s goals after their Blueprint Session.

Jake was fairly active before he came to us… like, Triathlon active🤯 , but felt like he needed a bit more specificity and ACCOUNTABILITY within his training.

Working out alone is boring. It’s just true.

Fast forward to now nearly 2 years with us and his strength gains have been tremendous (and wifey is trying us out now, too!👫🏼)

“My coach, Tori, and the support team have made me a better version of myself, both physically and mentally. I continue to see gains in my lifts and overall energy, and the community is a great support system.”

Did he absolutely NEED us? Maybe not.

But is he getting to his goals FASTER and more EFFICIENTLY? Hell yes.

We’ve got a gym full of high-performers who don’t want the stress of figuring out how to train to get them from A to B. That’s our job.

TLDR; Justin did wrestling for multiple years. Body is banged up. Getting surgery. Still showing up🙌🏼

This is Justin. We snagged a photo of his pretty smile, but he’s tough.

He did wrestling for multiple years and his body has taken a BEATING.

He’s about to get a total shoulder replacement and just train the non-surgery side.

Adjusting workouts and training what he can. TOUGH.

Rachel and her husband have completely transformed what “normal” looks like for their two young girls. (Cue the at-home weekend workouts.. FRICKIN CUTE! 🥰)

She’s stronger, leaner, faster, more informed AND training for her first half marathon in the fall.

“I wasn’t exactly sure what all I was getting into..” is a common fear for new clients.

AND WE GET IT!

That first session is the scariest.

Last year Christy got back into running, ran her first marathon and just last weekend ran for 12 hours straight at the Armed Forces Endurance run.

1st place Female in the 12-hour run group👀👀

UN. REAL. WORK.

Just like she said,
“Do the hard things. Do the things you want to do. Get rid of the toxic. Change is scary and exciting. Don’t set limits on yourself that don’t exist”

Everyone welcome our newest coach to the Velocity Team!🔥

Nate graduated from Saint Francis with a Bachelor’s in Health and Exercise Science on a Baseball AND Academic Scholarship!

He ran his first half marathon a couple weekends ago, plans to run an Ultra marathon👀, and can still hit the hell out of a baseball even in church clothes.

So far we know he has a serious girlfriend, he’s a Large not a Medium and he’ll be attempting to get his quads bigger than Coach .vhdo’s. Follow along for the timeline on all of these!

Tracy has been with us for about 6 months now joining just before Thanksgiving — she was NOT about to wait until the new year to get things going!💪🏼

Adhithi came to us wanting to feel stronger in her body and reduce her overall stress (college is STRESSFUL, ya’ll!)

What a lot of people don’t realize is that although adding in going to the gym may seem stressful at first, or you don’t have the energy for it; those things get POSITIVELY impacted once you start moving more!

•Exercise burns off excess cortisol and adrenaline.
•Resistance training causes cells to be more efficient.
•Movement releases a bunch of “feel-good” chemicals.

She’s literally feeling better, feeling more energized and lowering her stress every time she make it into the gym🙌🏼

And one of our badges literally says “Character & Resolve Manufacturing”

Because that’s what we do.

We build clarity in who you are.

Yes, it is showing up and training and sweating and all those things that come with working out…

But it’s shaping your life and your self in a positive manner.
