We are a 501c3 Not for Profit facility dedicated to providing services that benefit the whole family. Midwest Center provides therapy for children to address physical, sensory and social concerns, using a variety of treatments and therapeutic tools. Programs offered at the center include physical, occupational and speech therapies, and therapeutic riding lessons.

This month, we are honored to celebrate Traci's 23rd work anniversary with Dream Riders!

As one of the original members of our team, Traci has been part of Dream Riders since the very beginning. Over the past 23 years, she has dedicated countless hours, unwavering commitment, and an incredible amount of heart to helping our program grow and thrive.

Through every challenge, milestone, and success, Traci has remained a steadfast advocate for our mission and the individuals we serve. Her passion, hard work, and dedication have helped shape Dream Riders into the organization it is today, impacting the lives of countless participants, families, volunteers, and horses along the way.

"I am so blessed and grateful for everyone who believed in Dream Riders from the very beginning and for the continued support that has allowed us to expand and thrive.

For 23 years, I've had the privilege of watching incredible transformations happen right before my eyes - seeing children come here as patients and grow into young adults who learn to drive, get jobs, attend college, get married, and even start families of their own. I've also had the joy of watching volunteers and staff form lasting friendships that have helped our program adapt and grow through many changes in the past two decades.

As I reflect on my time at Dream Riders, my heart is full of appreciation and gratitude. Our horses, volunteers, staff, and dedicated supporters have facilitated to create life-changing moments and accomplishments for so many families. Together, we all contributed to something truly special. More teams took to the obstacle course this week, showing off their skills, teamwork, and determination as they race toward the finish line. From weaving through obstacles to tackling every challenge with confidence, our kiddos and therapy partners gave it their all!

🏁 Team 7 is charging down the homestretch! 🏁

Dana and Thomas pulled out all the stops for this week’s obstacle course challenge, tackling every twist, turn, and hurdle with determination and teamwork. Nothing could slow this team as they raced through the course and showed everyone what it means to stay focused on the finish line.

With grit, heart, and plenty of smiles along the way, Team 7 proved they’re serious contenders in this race. 🐴💨

⛳🌟 Dream Riders 3rd Annual Golf Outing Fundraiser 🌟⛳

What an incredible day! Our 3rd Annual Golf Outing was a huge success, and we are so grateful to everyone who helped make it possible.

On Monday, June 1st, the Golf Club of Illinois welcomed 127 golfers for a beautiful day on the course, all coming together to support the amazing children and families we serve through Dream Riders. From the perfect weather to the laughter, friendly competition, and community spirit, it was a day to remember.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our sponsors, golfers, volunteers, donors, and supporters. Your generosity, time, and dedication help make our programs possible and allow us to continue providing life-changing equine-assisted services to those who need them most.

Team 1 – Apollo & Bronte came flying out of the gate with an incredible $200 surge, galloping from $85 to $285!
Team 7 – Thomas & Dana also picked up speed, racing ahead with a $200 increase, moving from $110 to $310.
Team 9 – Clem & Alli kept their lead strong, adding another $20 to reach $640, remaining our current front-runner! 🏆

Happy 1-Year Anniversary, Sam! 🎉🐴

This month we’re celebrating Sam and her first year with Dream Riders! As a valued member of our arena team, Sam has shown incredible dedication, a strong work ethic, and a genuine love for our horses.

Sam joined Dream Riders during her senior year at Prairie Ridge High School, and we’ve had the privilege of watching her grow and accomplish so much. Now, as a recent graduate, she continues to be an important part of our team, helping ensure our horses receive the exceptional care they deserve.

Frank and Anthony teamed up with their favorite horse friends, Sven and Moonpie, for this week’s painting challenge. Together, they created beautiful masterpieces filled with creativity, teamwork, and plenty of horse-powered inspiration.

🏇📣 Attention Racers — We’re Heading Into Weeks 4 & 5 of Racing Towards a Good Cause! 🐴

The next challenge is officially LIVE, and this one is all about speed, balance, and skill as teams take on our exciting Obstacle Course Challenge! 🎉

The course is set up and ready to go for the rest of this week and next week. Riders will start at the line by the wheelchair swing, choose their hobby horse, grab a cowboy hat, and race against the clock through the course! ⏱️🐎

We’ve already had a few friends and horses checking out the course to make sure everything is ready to go — and a special thanks to Moonpie and Whiskey for helping keep the grass nicely trimmed! 🌱🐴✨

Whether you’re aiming for the fastest time or just out to have fun and support a great cause, this challenge is sure to bring lots of laughs, teamwork, and friendly competition. 💙

Good luck to all our racers — we can’t wait to see everyone out on the course! 🏁🐴
