Pilates is a form of exercise that:
-Improves strength, flexibility, coordination, speed, agility, and endurance.
-Provides cross-training for athletic and ordinary activity
-Instructs proper muscle activation
-Enhances body awareness and control
-Rectifies posture and body alignment
-Promotes balance and proprioception
-Demonstrates proper breathing techniques, benefitting both the

physical and psychological
-Hones concentration and focus
-Encourages relaxation and relieves tension

Pilates generates aesthetically pleasing muscle tone, with an emphasis on core strength. The nonimpact style makes it ideal for the more fragile body and those who have experienced injury.
