Things always happen just as they’re supposed to.

I had made this blanket and put it in with a basket I put together for the raffle benefiting the transplant center. There were so many great baskets in the raffle. I put a few tickets in for a few of them, including my own-and I won it back. 😂

One of my co-workers; her mom has been having some health issues and she’s had to make some difficult decisions regarding her mom’s care. Yes, it may be the best decision, but the hardest. I feel this with every fiber of my being with my Mom and having to be the parent sometimes is so incredibly hard.

My coworker needs a whole lot of extra love, prayers and support on this hard season.

I’m so glad I won it back, as it was meant to be hers. 💚

Kidnapped my project lol 😂 😻

So what do I end up getting into on my first day of my new job in Transplant you might ask.
I end up offering to donate a gift basket-as one of many-to be raffled off at the Annual UVA Transplant Golf Benefit in September. 💙

Our week at the lake has been wonderful. A much needed week away after the whirlwind of a year we’ve had so far.
Our hostess Abby has been amazing since I rented our cabin back in the spring. She welcomed us with a bottle of w**e when we got here.
A week of rest, sweet friends, a little crochet project and a fresh new start.
Leaving Abby a lap blanket as a small gift in return to say thank you for helping make this an amazing week away.
We have loved every minute and we are so grateful. 💚
