All the tucks!

Posted • Tuck = the largest buzz word in barre. So what do we mean when we use the big T word?

1️⃣ A tuck is a posterior pelvic tilt.
2️⃣ To perform the movement properly, stand up straight, deep breath in, on your exhale lengthen your tailbone down while doing a few things
👉🏻 squeeze your glutes 👉🏾 shorten your front body by squeezing right below the belly button
👉🏻 keep your shoulders relaxed
👉🏽 gently roll your hips slightly forward

A tuck is a NOT a hip thrust. It’s a small movement. It’s meant to strengthen the lower abs and pelvic floor. It’s not a lower back move - so y’all....stop twerkin and start tucking properly ✌🏾
