Toes Yoga of Chattanooga is an intimate yoga studio nestled in the Brainerd Arts District. We offer yoga classes for all abilities, from beginner to advanced. Our teachers are the most qualified in town and are capable of relating the class to individual needs. Some of our classes include meditation, flow, fundamentals, Vinyasa, prenatal, Yin, and more.

As we move into a new week, we’ve been reflecting with gratitude on this community and everyone who has practiced with us, whether you’ve been here recently or it’s been a while since you’ve stepped onto your mat.

Life moves in seasons. Schedules change, energy shifts, and routines fall away sometimes. But yoga is always here to return to, offering a space to breathe deeply, reconnect, and care for yourself in meaningful ways. You don’t have to come back perfectly or consistently. You simply have to begin again.

As the moon moves through its waxing crescent 🌙 phase this week, it brings an energy of gentle growth, intention, and forward movement. Unlike the intensity of the full moon, this phase invites us to build slowly and to take small, meaningful steps toward what we want to cultivate in our lives.

In a world that can often feel noisy, heavy, or uncertain, yoga offers a way to return to center. Through movement, breath, and presence, practice helps us stay grounded while continuing to grow. Happy Mother's Day! 💐

Today we honor all the mothers in our lives, and those who continuously show up and care for others. This is a reminder of the many ways care, nurturing, and support show up in daily life. Yoga invites us to extend that same compassion inward, through breath, movement, rest, and presence. Whether this day brings joy, reflection, gratitude, grief, or a mix of emotions, may your practice offer grounding and space to honor exactly where you are.

The Sunday class line-up is getting a refresh with Hannah Carlton! New schedule starts tomorrow, May 10. See you on the mat!

9:00 - 10:00am - Yinyasa
In this mobility focused class, we’ll link movement to breath vinyasa-style in a gentle flow (think low and slow with longer holds), followed by yin poses for deep stretching of the connective tissue. It’s a delicious combo of yin + yang and the perfect treat for Sunday mornings.

10:30 - 11:30am - Hatha
A traditional yoga class that uses static postures to lengthen, strengthen, and align the body. We’ll take the time to break down poses and learn how to be strong and safe within each shape. Your teacher will provide modifications and prop options to suite each students’ needs, and you can expect to leave class with a greater knowledge of yoga and yourself. Suitable for all experience levels, and especially beginner friendly.

6:00 - 7:15pm - Yin/Restore
Longer held postures designed to release tension from the spine and joints. Breath and meditation techniques help restore a healthy mind and nervous system.

You might see a new face here at Toes in May. Our new instructor Cicely Miller will be subbing several classes this month, and will add her own class starting in July. Drop in and say hello!

"My name is Cicely Miller and I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in July 2025, followed by subsequent certifications in both Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra. I began practicing yoga to support back pain and complement my powerlifting training while competing but quickly fell in love with the practice and the teachings of yoga. My approach blends strength, mindfulness, and deep rest, creating space for students to build resilience both on and off the mat. I aim to help students move with intention, find balance, and experience the deeper benefits of yoga beyond the physical practice."
