Blueberry Protein breakfast muffins!!!

Makes 12 muffins
1 1/2 cup protein pancake mix
1 cup cottage cheese
1 cup egg whites
1 1/2 cup berries of choice

Mix well & bake 375 20-25 minutes

Some seasons of life feel lonely. Not because you’re surrounded by no one, but because you’re walking roads nobody can walk for you.

I’m learning that riding solo through parts of this life doesn’t mean you’ve been forgotten. It doesn’t mean you took a wrong turn. Sometimes God pulls away the noise, the crowds, the distractions, and even certain people so you can finally hear His voice more clearly.

There have been moments I wanted answers, timelines, certainty, and a map of what’s next. But faith doesn’t work like that.

Faith is putting one foot in front of the other and trusting that even when you can’t see the path, God already can.

Maybe I’m not walking alone after all.

Maybe God is just teaching me how to trust Him enough to stop trying to hold the steering wheel.

I may not understand the plan yet, but I trust the One who wrote it.

What are your plans for the weekend???
Me:
“Wow… I have extra time.” 👀

Time for unnecessary 2-hour gym sessions.
Time for “one more set” becoming seven more sets.
Time for talking myself into lifting weights that make me question every life decision I’ve made.

Nothing says holiday spirit like barley breathing between reps, wobbling out of the gym, seeing stars after leg day, and sitting on the toilet sideways for three days.

Some people look forward to vacations.
I look forward to kicking my own ass. đź’Ş

I don’t use a lot of high-calorie sauces and dressings because those little add-ons can add up fast.

For breakfast, I like heating up berries and making my own berry syrup instead of loading pancakes with syrup.

For lunch or dinner, I’m reaching for things like:

* Salsa
* Hot sauce
* Mustard
* Pico de gallo
* Buffalo sauce
* Tzatziki
* Sugar-free BBQ sauce
* Lemon and lime juice for flavor

If I’m making dips or dressings, I’ll use Greek yogurt or cottage cheese and mix in:

* Ranch seasoning
* French onion packets
* Fiesta seasoning
* Taco seasoning
* Dill and herbs

And if I’m making spaghetti sauce, I’m not grabbing the high-sugar stuff loaded with extra ingredients. I’ll make my own with:

* A can of diced tomatoes
* Tomato paste
* Garlic and seasonings
* A natural sweetener if needed

Little things like sauces, dressings, coffee syrups, ketchup, and condiments can quietly throw off your fat-loss goals without you realizing it.

Flavor isn’t the enemy. Hidden calories are.
