Congratulations to Danika Gillis on earning a spot on the Division I Cheer Team at Illinois State University!

Over the past four years, Danika has exemplified grit, determination, strong work ethic, and outstanding leadership as a member of the Mater Dei Cheer program. Her dedication both on and off the mat has made a lasting impact, and we are incredibly proud of all she has accomplished.

During the 2025–2026 season, Danika earned numerous honors, including selection to the IHSCCO All-State Team, recognition as an ICCA Senior Scholar, and the Most Outstanding Cheerleader award at our team banquet.

We couldn’t be more proud of Danika and look forward to seeing all she achieves as a Redbird. Wishing her continued success at the collegiate level!
