It warms my heart each time I host a paddle and at least one person shows up truly needing the support of the tribe we’ve created. There’s something bigger than paddling happening at Anchored Soul. 🌊💙
We want Anchored Soul to be a tribe—a place where you know you belong. A place where you can show up exactly as you are, whether you’re having the best day of your life or you just need a few hours to escape the noise and breathe.
Life can be hard. We all go through seasons that challenge us, stretch us, and sometimes leave us feeling like we’re carrying a little too much on our own. And sometimes what we need most isn’t advice or answers… it’s good people beside us.
That’s what we want this community to be.
A group of people who celebrate the good stuff together, laugh until our faces hurt, encourage each other through the hard stuff, and remind one another that nobody has to navigate this crazy life alone.
You might come to Anchored Soul for the water. 🏄‍♀️
You might stay for the adventure. 🌅
But we hope you find a tribe that feels like home. ❤️

Yesterday, Sirena and I had the absolute pleasure of paddling the Winter Park Chain of Lakes with Surfari Willy’s Paddleboarding, and I’m still soaking in how beautiful this experience was. 🌿💦☀️
For those who aren’t familiar with it (thanks Justin for telling me about it), the Winter Park Chain of Lakes is a series of beautiful lakes connected by charming canals, creating a unique paddling experience right near the heart of historic Winter Park. And let me tell you… it did NOT disappoint. 😍
And then there’s Will.
Not only was he a flawless guide—knowledgeable, attentive, encouraging, and somehow always exactly where he needed to be—but he has an incredible eye for photography. He captures the experience in a way that lets you take a little piece of it home with you.
Because of him, I now have some of the most beautiful mother-daughter photos of Sirena and me. Photos that I know I’ll treasure long after the memories of yesterday start to fade. 📸❤️
And a little friendly reminder… tip your guides! 😉 Especially when you show up with your own equipment and your guide is kind enough to say, “Oh, I don’t need to charge you.”
Because while they may not want to charge you, your guide still showed up, shared their time and knowledge, kept you pointed in the right direction, and—if you’re lucky—took a ridiculous number of amazing photos of you and your kid. 😂📸
So basically… if your guide says, “No charge,” in my mind that means “tip extra.” 😜
Thank you, Will, for an unforgettable morning on the Chain of Lakes—and for giving us memories (and photographs!) that I’ll cherish for years to come.
