What a beautiful night on the water! Tonight’s paddle was filled with great conversation, lots of laughs, and the perfect mix of Anchored Soul regulars and first-time paddlers. Seeing familiar faces and welcoming new ones is what these Thursday socials are all about.
The sunset showed off, the water was calm, and the company was even better. Thank you to everyone who came out and made it such a fun evening.
And because every good story needs a plot twist... on the way home, my trusty adventure vehicle, my FJ—arguably the best one I’ve ever owned—decided its journey was over. It completely died while I was driving. Thankfully, I was able to coast downhill with the trailer in tow and get safely off the road before it came to a full stop.
So tonight’s paddle was a success... and apparently my vehicle’s farewell tour. 😅
Thanks again to everyone who joined us. Can’t wait to do it all again next Thursday—likely with a different ride!

Our Thursday Social Paddle is an adult night out event beginning with 1.5 hours of social paddling followed by social time on land at a local hot spot. You’ll have the option to mix in some SUP Yoga or SUP Fit exercises as we paddle if you desire the additional workout.
Must RSVP to find out which location we are launching from each week.

Price per 1.5 hour SUP outing including all equipment:
$25 per person
Attend 4 get the 5th for free.
Adults w/ their own equipment are $5 when launching off private property & free on weeks when we’re launching from the public launches.

Yesterday’s paddle with Anchored Soul on Lake Lure was pure magic. The water was cool, crystal clear, and absolutely stunning. Add in the perfect group of paddlers, and it made for an unforgettable day on the water. Seeing Lake Lure come back so beautifully after the devastation of Hurricane Helene is incredibly moving. This town’s resilience matches its beauty, and both are truly remarkable. 💙🚣‍♀️🌊

🌕🛶 What an incredible Sunday night on Lake Wylie!
Anchored Soul’s Blue Moon Full Moon Paddle brought together 40 paddlers and 1 adventurous chihuahua for an unforgettable evening on the water. ✨🐾
One of the most exciting parts of the night? Nineteen of our 40 participants were first-time paddlers! Watching so many people step out of their comfort zones, gain confidence on the water, and experience the magic of paddling under a Blue Moon was truly special. I’m incredibly grateful that 19 people trusted me to be their guide and instructor for that experience.
The lake was calm and the energy was contagious. New friendships were made, memories were created, and our four-legged paddler may have stolen a little bit of the spotlight along the way.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this one of our most memorable paddles yet. Whether it was your first paddle or your fiftieth, we’re honored you chose to spend the evening with us.
Here’s to more adventures, more community, and more magical nights on the water. 🌙💙
