Well, the first two rounds of the Summer Shootout didn’t go according to plan. Let’s just say….. 🫏 👟

Round 1 was our first time racing in the wet and we struggled - P20 😒 Round 2 we didn’t adjust well enough in the cockpit - P17 ☹️. It was a humbling two days despite having really good speed in our Miller Performance Motorsports Direct hot rod. But we can’t spell “give up” without autocorrect 🪄 so we will keep digging and come back next week ready to keep grinding 💼🧠💪🏼

Sooooo close 🤏 Finished P3 last night at Anderson Motor Speedway 🥉 We had race winning speed in our Miller Performance Motorsports Direct hot rod, but came up just short. Definitely one we can learn from. It was awesome having family come to visit and glad we could give them a good show from deep in the field. Strap in and get the details in our Race Recap!

🔥 Heat - Unlucky draw had us P8, but we made some good moves to get to P4 in just 6 laps

🎬 Feature - P8 ➡️ P3 - Car was wicked fast and driver was hauling ass, driving up to 2nd and on the leader’s bumper before a caution came out with 3 to go. Lost a position with the outside starting spot and ran out of time to get it back, ultimately coming home 3rd

Our first practice is in the books for the at Charlotte Motor Speedway This track is tough but we made gains each time out and are here for the challenge. Ready for the opener on Monday June 8th! Thankful for this Miller Performance Motorsports Direct hot rod and all the support from the team 👊

It was a somber race from Hickory Motor Speedway on Thursday. We were supposed to race with Kyle and Brexton, but life had other plans. Our hearts break for the entire Busch family; wishing you all the love and support you deserve during this difficult time.

As for our race, it was meh 🫤 Started P4, spun in the rain 🌧️, got our spot back, but faded late to P10. Thank you to Miller Performance Motorsports Direct for the support as always and we appreciate our friends from Little E Racing making the trip and braving the multiple delays.

With the rain, our races were canceled for Tri-County so our next time on track will be June 2nd practicing for the Summer Shootout Series.

Dillon was fun…until it wasn’t. Felt great about our car practicing on worn tires but when we strapped new ones on before qualifying we were chasing the handle we wanted. Qualified P11, finished P10 😒 - it’s not always 🌈 and 🦄 out there. Glad we brought our Morris-Jenkins Miller Performance Motorsports Direct hot rod home in one piece so we are ready to hit Hickory and Tri-County this week!

We are heading to Dillon Motor Speedway Saturday! New track for us and we got a few hours of practice in tonight; excited to battle it out in our Miller Performance Motorsports Direct hot rod tomorrow 😎

Come ride along for 2 laps! We finally installed a GoPro to capture in-car footage…when the ex crew chief remembers to check the battery at least 🤦🏼‍♂️ This was a mid-race restart from P5 for 2 laps before another caution came out (and shortly thereafter the battery died🪫). We would ultimately finish P2 in this race. Sound is required 🫨
