WELCOME ALEX 💪🏽🔥

Alexandria Jimenez is a Strength and Conditioning Coach with over 10 years of experience helping youth and adult athletes improve performance, build strength, and develop confidence through training. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from State University of New York at Fredonia and has worked with individuals of all ages and fitness levels, from youth athletes to adults seeking improved health, strength, and athletic performance. Whether working with young athletes looking to enhance speed, strength, and sport performance or adults striving to improve fitness and overall well-being, Alex emphasizes proper technique, individualized coaching, and sustainable progress. Outside of the gym, she enjoys spending time with her family, staying active through strength training and endurance activities, and continuing to expand her knowledge of performance training and health.

OPHT Movement Standard - Front Squat

The front squat is a lower-body strength exercise that challenges the quads, glutes, and core while reinforcing an upright torso position.
By carrying the barbell on the front of the shoulders, the front squat demands trunk stability, mobility, and control throughout the movement.

Focus on creating tension before you descend, keeping your elbows high, and maintaining a strong, neutral spine. Drive through the full foot to stand tall and finish each repetition with control.
