Our club provides a safe, fun, and inclusive environment where individuals of all ages can learn and grow. Ada Judo Family,

It is with a heavy heart that I write that our dear instructor and mentor, Sensei Jerome Snider passed away today. Sensei Jerome was a faithful husband, loving father, follower and preacher of Jesus, and a one of a kind judo instructor. He was Sensei Tony’s right hand man. He effectively taught students of Ada Judo Club to be a better judoka than you were yesterday. He used judo as a means for raising up young men and women to be good people. He taught that kindness was not weakness. That humility was honorable. He preached the importance of “mutual benefit and welfare,” but he did it with the phrases he knew best, “love your neighbor as yourself,” and, “Treat others how you want to be treated.”

It was an honor to sit under his instruction. Had it not been for Jerome, Ada Judo Club wouldn’t be here today. We will miss him dearly. Our hearts go out to his family in prayer.
