Have you met Ada's first-ever Student-Athlete of the Month? Kambree Winters has earned this award because being a great student-athlete is about a whole lot more than what happens during the game ❤️

Kambree stands out for her character, effort, sportsmanship, academics, and leadership, qualities we’re excited to honor with this recognition.

✈️ From 600 hours on a home flight simulator to flying solo on his 16th birthday!

Meet Leyton Jacobs, an Ada High School junior and one of our October 2026 Aerospace Students of the Month! 🌟 Leyton turned his passion for aviation into real-world experience, completing 60 flight hours through Luv2Fly Flight School and passing both his FAA Part 107 and private pilot knowledge exams.

And his accomplishments don't stop in the cockpit! Leyton helped kick off his school's Van's RV-12iS aircraft build by drilling the first rivet hole and led his team to a runner-up finish at the 2026 Oklahoma High School Aviation State Championship.

Outside of aviation, he serves as Ada 4-H Club president, is a member of the National Honor Society, and volunteers at his local airport.
What's next? Leyton hopes to attend Oklahoma State University to study professional piloting and pursue a career as a commercial pilot.
Congratulations, Leyton! We look forward to seeing where your aviation journey takes you.
