What a weekend for The Arena Combat Academy! 🥇🏆🔥

This weekend, we took 13 kids and 5 adults to Newbreed OKC. With a smaller group competing, I honestly didn’t expect us to bring home any team trophies. Boy, was I wrong!

Our kiddos SHOWED UP AND SHOWED OUT! 💪 We had one competitor bring home 4 GOLD medals, another earn 3 GOLD medals and 1 SILVER, and several others battle their way to double gold!

But what impressed me most wasn’t the medals. It was the grit, determination, heart, and absolute will to win that these kids displayed. Every one of them went out there and gave it everything they had. Despite our smaller numbers, their incredible efforts earned us 1ST PLACE IN THE KIDS TEAM DIVISION! 🏆

And our adults weren’t about to be outdone! All 5 stepped up, competed hard, and earned enough points to combine with our kids’ success to bring home 1ST PLACE OVERALL TEAM AT NEWBREED OKC! 🏆🔥

I couldn’t be prouder of this team. Results like these don’t happen by accident. They’re earned through countless hours on the mats, hard rounds, dedication, and a willingness to push through adversity. It’s not about how many competitors you bring. It’s about the heart they bring with them!

On top of an incredible tournament weekend, we also celebrated belt promotions today! 🥋

Congratulations to everyone who earned their promotions! Every new stripe and belt represents hard work, consistency, and growth.

A special shoutout to Coach Jeff Johnston and his son, Cal, who got to experience something pretty special together today. Jeff earned his purple belt, and Cal earned his gray and white belt! Father and son moving up together. That’s what this journey is all about!

To our competitors, coaches, parents, and teammates who continue to support one another, THANK YOU! I’m incredibly proud of what we’re building at The Arena.
