Last night was a big one for Kaidenāhis first National Open Wheel 600 Series event, competing against a stacked field of 63 cars.
He came out strong, earning Quick Time in his qualifier, which put him 4th in his heat race. From there, he drove an incredible race and took the win in his heat, setting him up to start 2nd in the A Feature.
He fired off strong, but a few mistakes led to a spin that sent him to the back of the field. Thatās racingāhe kept his head, stayed determined, and worked his way back up to 15th place against some of the best drivers in the country.
Watching him compete at this level, against drivers heās grown up watching and admiring, is something specialāand honestly, a little emotional. The growth, the grit, and the willingness to learn in moments like this say everything about where heās headed.
We are incredibly proud of the effort heās putting in. Like every season, we have goalsābut more importantly, we know this year will bring lessons and growth that canāt be taught any other way.
Weāre beyond thankful for the team behind himāguiding him, supporting him, and helping him navigate the pressure of competing at this level at a young age.
And to all of his fans and supportersāthank you. Your support means more than you know.
This is just the beginning. Weāre looking forward to a strong and successful season.
