Update time change - Pickleball 2pm start today 👏🏼🔥

Thanks to Maree, Claire, Kel, Julie, Bobbie Joe and Brian for helping to promote pickleball at the Open Day of the LMC - Les Muroe Centre on Saturday 29 Aug. And due to an indoor bowls competition at the Gallagher Recreation Centre, our Sunday PB session will start at 2pm not the usual 11am. And Wahoo!!!! to all those who have entered Pickleball teams in the Te Kawau Mārō o Maniapoto over Labour Weekend. So far, 12 teams are representing various marae.

Our first taste of a Pickleball tournament at Gallagher Recreation Centre was a success🤩Keep an eye out for what is to come 👀

HUGE thanks to all our King Country pickleball whanau who came from Taumarunui, Ohakune, Ohura, Pio Pio, Te Kuiti, Otorohanga and Kihikihi. Rapt to now have a template and a plan to do it all again before the end of the year. Great final with Malcolm Warboys and Maree Tregoweth coming second to Peter and Terry Cook. Best dressed has to go to Olivia and Matt Buckley, and the Infamous 2nd bounce rule Award goes to Jordan. ☺️ Gallagher Recreation Centre Taumarunui Pickleball Club Inc

Pickleball is growing🔥

Come check out our first competition with a friendly King Country neighbourhood challenge tomorrow, 9 August, from 10am to 12.30pm. Played across 4 courts, we will also have another 2 courts set up for beginners wanting to give this fastest-growing sport in the world a go!
