Been awhile since Gower stepped back into the ring after recovering from his injury.

All healed up now and back in the ring today for his 2nd amateur fight and came away with a well deserved win 🥇

As always he trains hard and is exciting to watch! Well done Gower 👊🏽

Gym is open!

Session times Tuesdays and Thursdays 5.45pm

(First Tuesday session starts tonight)

It’s been a awhile, but we have finally got to a point we’re we can run a few classes during the week.

There will be changes to our
time table and we will have to set up a booking system due to a few residential things to consider and limited parking space.
So I will get that up and running as soon as. But for the meantime if you could please flick a message to our obc messenger before 4pm the day of the
boxfit session that would be great.

We look forward to seeing our gym members again 👊🏽

UPDATE!

Hey guys. Sorry we’ve been a bit quiet updating you on the gym and when we will be back up and running. The move took a bit longer than expected thanks to the awesome weather and a few set backs, but we’re in!
We’ve been busy trying to get unpacked and everything organised along with still working (not enough hours in the day)

We’re hoping if this weekend goes to plan we can start off a few classes next week, we won’t have our bags up as we need some structural stuff done so back to pad work for a little bit 🤗

I’ll post on Sunday arvo days and times!

OBC is moving!

This is our last week at
74 Otewa Road Otorohanga.

It’s been an awesome space and it will be sad to let it go. But we’ve finally got into our own property and will be relocating the gym there.

Unfortunately we will have to close for a couple of weeks to get ourselves sorted and set up the new gym! As soon as we are done we will post up the location and timetable.
A reminder to those paying memberships please put them on hold.

We will be running our last two early morning sessions Wednesday and Friday, 5.30pm Boxfit tonight and Thursday only. Please excuse the mess and box’s around the place (the gym will be clear) It’s a daunting task ahead 😅😫🤗

If people would like to come and grab their gloves, mouthguards ect that would be cool. Just so we do t get them mixed up.

Robert and I would like to say a big thanks to Andrew and Clare from Dungarvan Farms. Nick Ferris and Hayes Building for their generosity in donating towards the clubs new bags and equipment. As most can feel the pinch on the cost of living these days It is a massive help as we power through the gear.

We’re stoked at our achievements to keep the gym doors open and running.
So a big thanks to our members who come back for their daily punishment also 🥊
Fitness is not only beneficial for maintaining a healthy body but most importantly a healthy mind!
