Floorball - Term 3/4

REGISTRATIONS CLOSE Friday 12th June!

Season: Term 3 &4 2026
Dates: Monday 27th July (conclude on Monday 23rd November)
Venue: The Professionals Recreation Hall, Whirinaki Whare Taonga
Years: Year 3/4 & Year 5/6 teams
Cost: $60 per player - minimum team of 6

Grades are Year 3/4, Year 5/6 (4-aside - one goalie and three players). The games are played at the Professionals Recreation Hall in Upper Hutt From 4pm, are 2x10 min halves, and gear is provided.

However, we need parental support to help us with this opportunity. We need at least one parent manager or coach per team please, to be responsible for the team, collect shirts and on the day to sub the players on and off. Without this help we are unable to enter teams in the competition. Ideally a Coach for each team would be great.

If your child is keen to play, or you are interested in being a team manager or coach, please complete the online registration form below.

A big congratulations to all our OCS runners who ran at the Interschool Cross Country today! The weather turned it on with a gorgeous sunny day. A big thanks to all our parental helpers who manned the school tent, shirts and sign in, and Miss McManus on the finish line. Oxford had one of the highest participation rates and we are proud of everyone who turned up and gave it a go!

A special congratulations to Lily who placed 3rd in Y5 girls, and to Noah who placed 5th in Y6 Boys. These two have made the regional team, with Zach placing 11th as 1st Reserve. Full results to come.

While most of our Y6’s were out at Leaders Day, and some of our Y5’s at Pedal Ready, a small but hardy group of runners finished off our Run Group programme in typical Wellington Cross Country Conditions! Drizzly, cold and wet underfoot!

The progress of our Run Group has been exciting to watch over this term - from beginners who couldn’t run for longer than 1 minute to being able to run continuously over 1-2kms! Amazing!

Cross Country this weekend! We can take registrations on the day so if you’ve missed signing up just turn up and find Tania or Miss McManus.

1pm meet
1.30pm first race (Y1-3).

Good luck to all our OCS Runners!

H2O School Swim Challenge.

This is a fun initiative designed to encourage swimming participation while giving schools the opportunity to earn points and compete for a prize.

How it works:

From the 1st June each time a student from Oxford Crescent attends a swim at H2O Xtream (excluding Learn to Swim lessons), let staff know and a tally is recorded.

Students can attend as many times as they want throughout the month of June.

The school with the highest total number of student visits for the full month of June will win.

The winning school will receive a free-swimming session with slides at H2O Xtream!

We already have 3 of our netball teams registered for this tournament! How exciting :)

Check with your coach if your team is interested.
