We're fortunate to have one of the best stretches of sailing water anywhere. We are proud to have the Yachting New Zealand 49'er high performance program based out of our club. They are a talented team and have been killing it in Europe winning the world champs and performing strongly in major regattas. All that tough training in our backyard has paid off. ⛵🥇
Great also to see club members, and Torbay locals, Micah Wilkinson and Kate Stewart performing strongly in the Nacra17 in their quest for selection for the LA Olympics in 2028 following on from Micah's bronze in Paris. 🥉

A strong finish to the 2026 Kiel Week for Mattias Coutts and Oscar Gunn, who capped off their regatta with victory in the 49er medal series! 🥇⛵
The Kiwi skiff duo finished fourth overall, just three points shy of the podium after an impressive week that included two race wins.
Micah Wilkinson and Kate Stewart also continued to show promise in the Nacra 17, finishing 11th overall with five top-10 results and a race win.
Earlier in the week, Tessa Clinton and Will Mason placed 12th in the mixed 470, while Zofia Wells and Charlotte Handley finished 15th in a highly competitive 420 fleet.
Next up, 5 Kiwi crews in the 29er EduroCup! 🇳🇿👏
