As the season winds down, it’s a good time to remember what junior rugby is really about and it’s not the final scores.

It’s the smiles, the laughs, the team huddles, the whānau on the sideline, the growth, the support and awhi from coaches, managers and opposition. Most importantly though, it’s about them, our junior players.

They won’t remember every score or game but they will remember how rugby made them feel. We play a big part in ensuring that feeling is a positive one.

Let’s finish the season like we started and keep junior rugby a great place for all tamariki, at every club 🫶
