It’s been a big and successful day for the Pa today!

We had a great turnout of volunteers helping with both our annual Love Tennis Day and our Mitre 10 sausage sizzle, run by superstar Richard! 🌭

Such a fantastic effort from our members, giving up their time and sharing their love of tennis and our club.

Thanks so much to everyone who helped out, came along and supported us today, it is VERY much appreciated! ❤️

What a fantastic day at Gate Pa Tennis Club! 🙌🎾

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came down today and spent some time with us. It was so great seeing everyone out on court, having fun, getting stuck into some tennis and enjoying the day together! 😍🎾

🌬️ If only we could have sent that wind packing! 😂 But hey, it certainly made things interesting!

Huge congratulations to three of our amazing juniors who competed in the AIMS Games! 🏆

We are so proud of your efforts and results:

🥉 Ben Hodson: Placed 3rd in Division 3

🏅 Akshaj Sharma: Placed 4th in Division 2

🏸 Aisha Syed: Won an incredible first round in Division 2 before putting up a fantastic fight against some very tough competition.

The US OPEN UMP is BACK..

The US Open starts on Sunday and Tennis NZ's famous Big Apple Picker game is firing up again.

If you have played the game before just login at www.fun.tennis.org.nz

Not played? Register by today!!

The Big Apple Picker wins a genuine US Open Player's Towel. Plus there are prizes for the top scorer in each draw and a lucky draw prize. The top club group wins a box of balls. You need at least 5 members playing to qualify for the club prize.

📣KFC Tournament Postponed

We have reluctantly decided to postpone our 2026 KFC tournament this weekend and look to rechedule to a later date in 2026 due to a Heavy Rain Watch on Saturday and to inform travellors.

The event will be re-posted on the TNZ Tournament website once a new date is confirmed-all current entrants will be contacted at that time to re-confirm or withdraw their entry.
