PUTTING THE NEXT GENERATION OF FARMERS TO THE TEST! 🚜

A bit of theory, a bit of hands-on action, and a whole lot of future farming talent!

Last Friday, our North Island Territory Manager, Kathy, swapped her usual duties for a spot on the judging panel at the Northern East Coast Young Farmers competition, held at the Hawke's Bay A&P Society Show in Hastings.

And naturally, we had to throw a Devan Tank into the mix! 💧

Contestants were put through their paces, answering questions and getting hands-on with fitting up a Devan Tank. A great opportunity to put their practical skills and knowledge to the test.

It was fantastic to see the next generation of farmers getting stuck in and giving it their best shot.

Well done to everyone who took part, and a big thanks to Kathy for flying the Devan flag! 💚💙

EL NIÑO IS COMING. ARE YOU PREPARED? ☀️🥵

One of the strongest El Niño events on record is developing, with forecasts pointing to a hotter, drier and windier summer for parts of New Zealand.

The question isn't how much rain we'll get. It's how much water you'll need.

And the best time to prepare for a dry summer? Before it arrives.

For homes, farms and businesses, being prepared starts with reliable water storage. A reliable water storage system means making the most of the rain when it falls, so you've got water in reserve when it doesn't.

💧 Capture it when it falls.
💧 Store it for when it doesn't.
☀️ Be ready for whatever summer brings.

Intensifying weather event is expected to peak in December, with forecasters warning of rising temperatures and changing rainfall patterns globally.

Having access to water when you need it? It's a no bRAINer! 💧

From keeping the garden green to the lawn lush, washing the car, topping up the pool or tackling those outdoor jobs, having your own stored water supply means you're ready when you need it.

And with summer just around the corner, now's the time to think ahead!

Hot, dry summers can bring water restrictions, leaving gardens dry and thirsty and outdoor water use limited. A Devan Tank lets you make the most of the rain when it falls, storing it for those dry spells when every drop counts.

💧 Harvest rainwater and reduce reliance on mains supply
💧 Keep your garden thriving through the hot dry months
💧 Have stored water available when restrictions kick in
💧 Save on water costs where metered charges apply
💧 Enjoy greater water security and independence

The weather might be unpredictable. Your water supply doesn't have to be.

The forecast is unreliable. Your tank shouldn't be. 🌧️☀️💨❄️🍂

Four seasons in one day?
Pretty standard around here.

Which is exactly why your water storage needs to be ready for whatever New Zealand conditions throw at it.

Devan Tanks are made in New Zealand for New Zealand conditions, backed by a 20-year warranty and built for years of dependable performance.

Because you can’t control the weather.
But you can be ready for it.

NOW THAT’S ONE WAY TO FILL THE TANK! 🏉💧

A full tank is usually our measure of a good result — but we’ll happily take a try in the corner too!

It’s been another great season backing Bay of Plenty Rugby and watching the team give it everything out on the field. Here’s to the tries, the tackles and plenty of great rugby along the way.

Up the Bay! All the way! 💙💛

You don’t need to live rurally to make good use of a water tank.

For urban homes, capturing rainwater gives you a handy supply for the jobs that can quickly add up — watering the garden and vege patch, washing the car, outdoor cleaning, topping up the pool or keeping the lawn going through a dry spell.

And when space is at a premium, the Devan stormPANEL Tank makes clever use of those narrow, often-unused areas down the side of the house.

Capture the rain when it falls.
Store it neatly out of the way.
Then put it to good use when you need it.

Catch it. Store it. Use it.

THE GREAT KIWI SUMMER NEEDS WATER! 💧☀️

Sprinkler under the trampoline? Absolutely.
Keeping the vege garden thriving? Daily.
Wash the car after the summer roadie? Yep.
Topping up the pool? That too.

Summer can be thirsty work. Rainwater captured today can come in pretty handy when those long, hot summer days arrive.

When you capture and store rainwater, you’re not just filling a tank — It’s green gardens, summer fun, clean cars and one less reason to watch the weather forecast. You’re storing water for all the little things that make summer, summer.

Catch it when it rains. Enjoy it when it doesn’t.
