Community, We work closely with the local schools and our vision is to empower and develop the young people in the area as we believe in the character building value that participati

on in sports brings to the youth of our region. Each year we continue to boost teams in all grades ranging from Unders 7's right through to our Senior Team and our fields are known as one of the best in Northland (sandy based and no match for winter weather). On top of this we have some of the best facilities throughout Northland. We have a proud tradition of having many team members who over the years have gone on to greater honours. From representing Mangonui and Northland as well International grades to the NZ Sevens and All Black status. 🏉💚💛 GAME DAY | EASTERN UNITED WĀHINE vs HIKURANGI 💛💚🏉 2PM Eastern Rugby Fields $3 at the gate!

Tomorrow we take the field again.
Not because it’s easy.
Not because we’re winning.
But because we made a commitment to each other and we’re not done fighting.

This season has been tough. We’ve taken some hard losses and heard plenty of opinions about what we can and can’t do. People see the scoreboard but they don’t always see the journey behind it.

What they don’t see is that this is the very first Eastern United Wāhine team.

They don’t see the courage it took for many of these wāhine to pull on a rugby jersey for the very first time.

They don’t see the growth happening every week, the confidence building, the tackles being made, the friendships being formed and the moments where everything clicks and we show exactly what we’re capable of.

We may not be where we want to be yet but we’re a long way from where we started.

Every game we learn.
Every game we improve.
Every game we get back up.

Tomorrow we face Hikurangi.

We’ll run hard.
We’ll tackle hard.
We’ll support each other.
And we’ll continue building something bigger than wins and losses.

Because success isn’t always measured by the scoreboard.

Sometimes success is simply refusing to quit.

This week we take on Kaikohe in another big challenge for our growing wāhine squad. Week by week these ladies continue to build confidence, connection and grit - and they’re not backing down from anyone 🔥

Every game is another step forward for this team and we’re proud of the heart these girls keep showing for our club and our community 💚💛
