"On Wednesday evening, several of PSC’s Division 2 swimmers had the opportunity to speak to the Pukekohe Lions Club and personally thank them for their generous support of the team’s trip to Dunedin.

Lawsyn, Finn, and Addison shared their experiences of competing at Division 2, the journey that led them there, and what both the sport and the event mean to them personally. Judging by the enthusiastic questions and engagement that followed, the swimmers left a lasting impression on the Lions members, who were clearly inspired by their dedication, commitment, and passion for swimming.

As a token of appreciation, the team presented Lions President, Dave Thompson, with a framed photograph of the squad at Moana Pool in Dunedin, commemorating a memorable campaign and recognising the Lions’ valued contribution.

Once again, a huge thank you to the Pukekohe Lions Club for hosting the team on Wednesday evening and, most importantly, for their support of our Division 2 swimmers. Their generosity helped make this opportunity possible and contributed to an experience that the swimmers will remember for years to come."❀️

Entries for the Swimming NZ Secondary School Championships have been extended. If you haven't signed up yet, make sure to enter now!

Following significant feedback from the community over the past 24 hours, Swimming NZ has extended entries for the 2026 New Zealand Secondary School Swimming Championships until 11:59pm on Monday 6 July. Late entries will not be accepted.

The original entry date adjustment, which was stated in updated meet information published on 16 April, was made in line with the direction provided by School Sport NZ. After carefully considering community feedback, we have decided to provide additional time for students to complete and submit their entries.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming swimmers from across the country to the competition.
