Well winter is here and that means it's trail building time! We have started out 2026 PCBC Trail Renovation project. We are hoping to rebuild, to variable degrees, Bazooka, Ground Effect, Screamers and Sweet As. -Thats if the financial wheels of fortune turn our way with funding. Our main funding comes from Subs -These were due Monday 1st June. Remember you have to be a member of PCBC to ride, walk or run in the forest. Only members are covered by our liability insurance and forest management insists on this. First track getting some love is Tunnel Vision. It will be closed until work is completed. Keep off the closed tracks. Thanks!

The majority of Maraetai forest will be closed this Sunday for the Auckland Schools Mountain Biking XC event. It will be closed from 7am to around 4pm. The event will be using a large chunk of the park, apart from the Rewa end. You are welcome to still ride the following tracks as they will be unaffected by the race:

- Ground Zero
- Bazooka
- Gr***de
- Shrapnel
- Pistals
- B's
- C19
- Waiho
- Eastern
- Western
- Sweet As
- Mellow Puff

All other tracks will be closed for the day for the race as racers will either be on the tracks, or there will be traffic movements.

PS race set up will be on Saturday, please do not disturb any tape as this will affect the race.

We are looking for people to help with a bbq on 25th April. From around 11.30 am to 2.30pm ish. We can break it up into shifts depending on the number of people we get. The BBQ is for an event and money raised through the BBQ goes straight back to the club. If you are around and can help please flick the club an email or respond below. Thanks.
