Awesome wekeend for our U14 teams in Westport last weekend.

We had 2 boys teams and 2 girls teams there with all teams playing some great Basketball across the weekend.

A huge thank you to Mike Fitchett and Abraham Tuthill for coaching the Girls teams and to Phill Jones and Lucas Guyton for coaching the Boys teams. It was great to see the improvement the players made from game to game and I know they all had a lot of fun.

We also sent four young referees to the tournament who all did a great job of refereeing the games.

Thank you to Buller Basketball Association for hosting the tournament. It was a great tournament played in a great spirit.

๐Ÿ” IMPORTANT ACCESS UPDATE โ€” JACK ROBINS STADIUM

Jack Robins Stadium now has a new electronic locking system in place.

This means that existing keys will no longer provide access to the stadium. We ask anyone who still holds a Jack Robins Stadium key to please return it to the Nelson Basketball office as soon as possible.

Thank you for helping us complete the changeover to our new access system.

Finally, with a moment to breathe we can give the court a clean. Yes we do this ourselves too!

Remember, it's a gold coin or an open donation to use JR without a booking. This money goes directly into maintaining the stadium. And she needs some work.

Help us to keep the doors open for you!

It all comes down to this!!

It's been a long season with lots of drama and plenty of upsets but our Club season comes to an end tonight with our finals night at Saxton Stadium.

In Men's Prem, the Stoke Bears have been the team to beat all season as they look to finish off an undefeated season tonight against the ABC Rhythm who haven't made a Club Premier final since 2011 and will be keen to cause an upset.

In Women's grade, Old School will take on the Koata Wahine. Once again another strong season from Old School sees them playing in yet another final but Koata as a new team this season will be doing their best to take home the trophy

The Men's A grade final is an all ABC affair with ABC Magic taking on JA Ballers. Both these teams had great rivaliries throughout the season with JA getting the better of it but it should be tightly contested game tonight.

The Men's B grade final will see Koata Krazy Horzes B taking on Hustlers in what should be an entertaining final. Both temas had plenty of ups and downs throughtout the season but found form at the right time and will be looking to take out the title.

Best of luck to all teams competing tonight and be sure to come down and check out the action.
