Congrats to Blair Hamilton for receiving most attendance at Riwaka's prize giving last nite and congrats to Kieva Littlejohn for receiving most all-rounder and most outstanding player for the year.Well done boys and to Kieva who has kindly donated his NZ Baba's jersey to me to wear, lol na, he has donated it to the academy and Riwaka club to hang up for all to see and to show all the young players that hard work is paying off.

Hey there lads next monday we have decided will be our last academy session for 2013/14 , its been great working with all you boys who showed ,we hope this carries on next season and in greater numbers , its a fantastic concept with the extra skills tuition and fitness training doing your fledging careers wonders for the future.A big thank you must go to Logan , Bart and Matt for the great effort and to Rob for the time he gave up .Its been a year of learning for me also. So cheers everyone involved and see you monday if not at the next academy.

Very informative session with Super Rugby Referee and former Mot High boy Chris Wratt on Monday was great to gather his knowledge of the new laws but also what to look out for with refereeing interpretations on key decisions we all hav been caught on the wrong side of once or twice.Very good of him to come for a chat and we all appreciated his time.See all you academy boys next monday 6:30pm. Logan, Bart and Matt are doing a great job and i think we all would appreciate seeing all you boys there every week.Cheers Brendon
