Tonight was the annual Interclub prize giving, courtesy of Nelson Bays Tennis Association. Always a blast for the local clubs to get together, and thank goodness we play better tennis than we take photos, or we'd be in trouble 😉

Stoke was lucky to have the ‘Slow Burners’ who won the women’s Tues Div 2 Doubles comp. And even more fortunate to have the ‘Hot Shots’ sizzle to a close second in the same grade. Tennis is on fire 🔥 The shield is back in the club room! There was also some Junior success for Stoke which was fabulous to see.

We cannot wait to get more people into Interclub which runs Oct to Dec, then Feb to Mar/Apr. So keep an eye out for expressions of interest later in the year. In the mean time; enjoy the winter tennis 🎾

Hi Everyone,
Z Tennis is running a Racquet Demo Night at Richmond Tennis Club 🏓 and you’re invited! Thurs 2nd October, 6-7.30 pm.

A great range of different racquets to suit:
Wilson, Babolat, Technifibre, Head, Yonex.
Intermediate and advanced performance racquets between 265 grams - 315 grams.

Come along and enjoy hitting with other members and give a new demo a go!

🎾 NBTA Interclub 2025-2026 🎾
For those eager to represent Stoke in Interclub, check your emails for details or rally your teammates if you're already a member. If you're not a member but excited to play, email the club promptly! Entries are required by 1 September. An image of the grades and format is attached.

💰An active Interclub membership is essential to participate in the competition.
🚗 Play starts 13th October, and start time of 6.15pm to allow for work / traffic.
📝 Entries have to be with NBTA by 8 Sept, otherwise you will miss out.

A big shoutout to Kolie from Z Tennis for running such a great doubles clinic yesterday at Stoke Tennis Club! 🎾 Awesome to see so many familiar faces on court.

Missed out this time? Don’t worry – if you’re keen to sharpen up your doubles tactics, let us know! Kolie’s keen to make these clinics a regular thing, but we’ll need 4–8 players each time to make it a solid session for everyone.
