Unfortunately, with only 21 entries, we’ve had to cancel this year’s event.
A huge apology to everyone who entered, especially those travelling from out of town. We really appreciate your support and are sorry we couldn’t make it work.
We’re already looking at ways to improve the Masters tournaments for future years.

SOCIAL LEAGUE ROUND 4!

We are squeezing in one last hurrah for 2026 with our fourth social league to close out the year. Let’s round it off with an absolute banger. Running for 8 weeks, starting on Thursday 22 October and finishing on 10 December.

Congratulations to Seb Reeves who secured 6th position in Boys U15 Div 1 at the 2026 G. J. Gardner NZ Junior Squash Nationals held at Henderson squash Club in Auckland this weekend! His journey included a tough battle with the 3rd seed taking him to a tough 5 game match point before narrowly missing out! Great job! 🌟

Congratulations to Hennifer Lopez for winning Round 3 of the 2026 Nelson Social Squash League! 🏆 Team captain Matt and his crew of Geoff, Simon, Zach and Trudy steered their way to victory and got their hands on our elusive trophy.

It’s been an awesome league for the past 10 weeks so thank you to all of our wonderful players for making the club a great place to be. Let’s roll on and see what more we can bring 🙌

It’s the final week of our third social league this year on Thursday and it’s hotting up to be a close contender for the wooden spoon prize at the bottom of the table!

Although I think we’re mainly looking forwards to what the fancy dress will be interpreted as… chickens at the ready 🐓 🍗 🐤 🥚

Looking back to last weekend when we hosted the fourth and final day in the Top of the South Day Series, we had a fantastic weekend and huge thanks to everyone for coming down and for making the effort to the support the clubs across the top of the South over the series.

As always the squash was on point and we finished with the series prize giving 🏆 - roll on next year where we go bigger and better 👌
