Awesome time at the golden gloves last weekend some great fights, moks max and Kloe fought. Moks fought well but lost to a tough temuka boy max was not feeling the best but still fought losing in the final to get a silver and Kloe battled her way to a win to become the South Island champ in her weigh.well done team you guys were amazing big ups to GGG boxing for all your help Chrissy your amazing and thanks to out cheer squad fragile boxing always great to hear you guys in the crowd.

Some pic from Picton fight night, Kloe was up first winning well against a tough chch girl that held a lot and stopped Kloe from getting her grove on till the last round scoring with some heavy punches, next was moks his first fight against a tough reefton boy moks lost on a split but made the other boy work hard for his win the other boy had already had 4 fights and 4 wins and was a couple of years older proud grandad.then it Arvin’s first amateur fight he won unanimous with clean straight heavy punches and great head movement and counter punching 4th up was Renata it was his 3rd fight but first for us, the whole fight was like watching a fast pace chess match with both fighters punching and counter punching, Renata’s combos and second fazes gave him a unanimous win. Last up was Devan he’s was fighting the north island novice champ, it was a hard fought battle with Devon losing he fought well with great head movement and punching on the inside.
