⚠️Warning big post ahead

Would like to put in many thanks to many people over the weekend specially for our U12s who were badly effected from covid hitting Nelson last week and we ended up not being able to attend south islands due to close contacts going into isolation. (We only have 7 girls and too risky to borrow)
Big thank you to the girl in the team who went into isolation as a close contact,(so far she is negative but still has 5 days left) in no way was this your fault and don’t ever think it was! Covid has and is going to effect many of us in different ways! Thank you to the girls who understood it’s not anyones fault, and was just bad luck. You are all a great bunch of wee girls!
Thank you to the parents who understood was there taking phone calls/messages from me over Thursday night early Friday trying to make sense of it all! And understanding when the call came through last min that we couldn’t travel.
Thanks to Ginny and Olivia for continuing to pull me through the weekend when I paced and had my wee moments of tears for the U12s.
Thank you to the seniors for getting through and pulling off what you had to, I wasn’t meant to be on the field, but I stepped in when one of our ladies had to stay at home with her son going into isolation. Thank you Tania and Rhiannon being there as great support for me & the girls!
Thanks for the shoulder to cry on josh and always being there and your running around!
Big thank you to Diane Burton of Marching Canterbury for many calls and messages figuring it all out semi keeping me slightly sane!
Lastly a thank you to Emma (MNZ CEO) and the board for their help and information etc through this strange time and understanding.

Today was a river kinda day! We been trying to make it for weeks now, but bad weather most weekends was not making it happen (sucks even more when we can’t use the hall for trainings due to covid either) was cloudy and water wasn’t the warmest

Little bit excited (even with the terrible rain we had on Sunday) this was transported to the South Island, but thanks to the wonderful Josh for picking it up from Blenheim….sneak peek of before photo

Our Seniors & U12s are wanting to field full blocks this season, ideally this means we need 2-3 new or old marchers per team, please contact us, we look forward to hearing from you

Exciting coaches began working on display today! Also a fundraiser on tonight....behind the scenes work have also started! Bring on the new season! And remember we Always looking for new members to join! Any ages!!!
