August B and Below; done and dusted.

A big thank you to everyone who made the trip to Red Star this weekend. The crew from Island Bay were there in full force and the whanau from Reporoa & KP (New Plymouth) made big trips.
As always thanks to our local clubs for your ongoing support.

A huge congratulations to all the players, especially the winners Samantha Douglas and Sam Meenken (love your speech).
There were heaps of winners over the weekend, including all the spot prizes that went out, some families scoring big time with their early Father’s Day haul. Of course this was to celebrate an early Father’s Day, & acknowledge the father figures in our lives (including mums and grandparents who hold these roles)

A big mihi to Hinerau who made the draws, recrafted them, then recrafted them again. Even on the Saturday, draws were changing due to pull outs. Another thanks needs to go to the people that filled in, some with very short notice.

The kitchen crew worked tirelessly over 3 days, and continued to live up to Red Star's hospitality reputation. Enjoy the next few days off and I hope the pedicure was good.

Everyone behind the scenes helping the CC, bar, barista, kitchen, reffing & just being you. Thanks to all, many hands make light work.

If you’re not too broken, keep an eye out for the Masterton tourney this weekend incase they need fill ins due to 🤧 or 🤕 as well.

It's not over yet! We still still have Wellington Doubles and Crate Day Doubles later in the year.
