MTC Saturday Tennis & AGM – Saturday 22nd August – Tennis at 12pm, AGM at 2pm.

The Masterton Tennis Centre AGM will be held this Saturday 22nd August 2026, at our clubhouse at 147 Dixon Street, Masterton.

Club doubles will therefore start half an hour earlier than usual at 12pm. This will be followed by the AGM at 2pm.

We’ve had some very cold spells this winter, but when the sun has come out the weather has been glorious.

The days are now noticeably starting to lengthen & they (may!) be getting a little warmer. Last Saturday we had 18 players enjoying their tennis on a sunny afternoon.

With Spring officially starting in 3 weeks, now is the perfect time to dust off your racquet & venture back out on to the tennis courts. So come along & join us:

• Thursday Social Doubles 09:00 to 10:30
• Saturday Club Doubles 12:30 to 14:30
• Sunday Social Doubles 09:00 to 10:30

Changes to MTC Tennis – Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th July.

Please note there is a Wairarapa Tennis event at MTC this coming weekend: Friday 17th to the morning of Sunday 19th July, and all 11 courts are fully booked out.

As a result, our regular Club Doubles (Saturday 18th July) will now be held on Sunday 19th July at MTC at the usual time of 12:30, followed by afternoon tea.

If we have to change this, then we’ll let you know.

Junior Term 3 coaching with Red Clay Tennis at Masterton Tennis Centre.

Applications are now open for Term 3 coaching. This is a great term for players to build up to the new season ahead.

We have very limited spaces available so please apply now before you miss out. All players enrolled for the full winter programme are set and do not need to re-enrol. Players that signed up for Term 2 only will have their places held until Friday 10 July. After this date all spaces will be available to new players on a first-in basis.

As a result, our regular Saturday Club Doubles (30th May) will be held at Hadlow School (68 High Street, Solway), same time 12:30 to 2:30pm.

Also, there will be no social doubles on that Sunday morning (31st May).
