π Senior Team Report (Hanmer A)
It was a very cold morning in Hawarden for the Hanmer A teamβs early game against Hawarden B.
The Play: The team got off to a solid start, leaving things locked up pretty evenly at the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter, the whole team gelled beautifully to build an 8-goal lead at halftime. Hawarden went on a big run in the third, cutting Hanmer's lead to just one heading into the final term. Showing awesome composure, the whole squad worked together across the court to pull ahead for a fantastic 31β26 victory!
The Spirit: Brilliant fight and determination to absorb Hawarden's third-quarter pressure and finish the game strong.
