🏉 The Amuri Rams Golden Oldies are back in action on Sunday 14 June as we host the Christchurch Gentlemen in what promises to be an entertaining afternoon of rugby, banter, and memories that may or may not be remembered the next day.

Players young, old, and older are always welcome. If your boots still fit, your knees still bend, and you can locate your mouthguard without assistance, you're qualified.

Now, about the ball... depending on which team you're playing for, there could be more than one in play on Sunday. Some of the lads have reached an age where everything seems to be dropping a little lower than it used to! 😏

Expect plenty of enthusiasm, the occasional flash of brilliance, and several players explaining that they were much quicker 20 years ago.

Spectators are encouraged to come along and enjoy the action. Entry is free, the entertainment is guaranteed, and the post-match stories get better with every retelling.

Golden Oldies Rugby — where the warm-up takes longer than the game and everyone is playing through an injury they can't quite remember getting.

Curtain raiser to Kyle Beach’s 50th, so expect a few blokes who haven’t stretched since the early 2000s claiming they’re “still good for 20”… (they’re not).

New & old players welcome – whether you’re match fit or just fit for the after match, we’re not fussy 🍻 If you’ve got boots, a pulse, and questionable judgement, you’ll fit right in.

What an epic day of rugby in Hanmer Springs yesterday, great to see so many supporters on the sideline. Big shout out to the Hanmer Springs RFC and especially Andy Ockwell with all that he does behind the scenes.
